Governance at Manor Academy
Our Academy Governing Board is dedicated to supporting the students, staff, infrastructure at Manor Academy. The Academy Governing Board consists of volunteers who give their time and commitment freely. All our Governors are passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for every student.
The job of the Academy Governing Board is to support and challenge the Academy’s senior leadership team. They play an important role in supporting in raising achievement and enhancing the life choices of our students.
In addition, Academy Governors support the vision and ethos of the Trust and Academy. Locally, Governors focus on strategic functions which are determined by Trustees of The Two Counties Trust Board and within the Governance Structure.
Part of the remit of School Governors is to monitor data and challenge senior leaders to improve the provision for students.
