Welcome to Manor Academy

I believe that The Manor Academy is a great place for students to learn and staff to teach. This is because, at The Manor Academy we pride ourselves on our core values of care, aspiration, voice, ambition, teamwork and honesty. These values run throughout our curriculum and make our Academy a successful and enjoyable place where students thrive. We strive to develop respectful, sensitive and well-behaved students through a strong pastoral education programme, one that is grounded in the ideals of compassion, diversity and humility. The Manor Academy staff and I, guarantee to give every student at The Manor Academy every opportunity to fulfil their potential. I have extremely high expectations of our students, and just as there are no shortcuts, there are no excuses. Every lesson, trip, assembly, interaction and opportunity are designed with these essential elements in mind, which make The Manor Academy the special place it is.

We are ambitious for our students, not only in the curriculum we have crafted but also in the learning culture we promote. Our aim for all students, no matter their starting point, is to achieve their full potential. I am extremely proud of our dedicated team of specialist teachers and support staff who work alongside our students to attain this. By setting a high bar of challenge and expectation, we prepare our students to be exam ready, work ready and life ready, celebrating their achievements and successes with them along the way.

Every family wants to see their child grow up to lead a successful and fulfilling career which brings security and happiness throughout their life. At The Manor Academy, we share that same aspiration and continually seek ways to support our students in discovering, unlocking, and developing their passions, be those academic or ones which sit outside the mainstream curriculum. Our desire is for every student to enjoy their life as a learner, being inquisitive about their subject matter, acquiring a resilience and a positive control over their life choices. We will always endeavour to support families in whatever form that takes and be there as a beacon of stability at times of greatest need. We realise strong partnerships are the bedrock by which sustained student achievement can be achieved. At The Manor Academy, we value the partnership between home and the academy as an essential aspect of our students’ success. Together, we can unlock their full potential and empower them to thrive academically, socially, and personally. We look forward to working collaboratively with our families and the wider community, as we believe that by joining forces, we can provide the best possible educational experience for our students. We look forward to working in partnership with you.
