Revision at The Manor Academy plays an integral part in giving our students the confidence to achieve their potential, whether this be for low-stakes quizzes in class or for more extensive end-of-term or end-of-year assessments, including GCSE, BTEC and A level exams. We support our students by teaching them how to revise using a range of techniques and most recently we have been coaching our students with a ‘Diagnose, Therapy, Test’ approach to revision, using their Learning Booklets and 100% sheets containing the powerful knowledge. This testing technique enables students to be much more independent and proactive in their learning because they are taught how to self-check their understanding and how to fill the gaps in their knowledge. This is a technique we will be sharing with all year groups as they receive their learning booklets and 100% sheets as they move forward.
