Following the work experience launch event for Year 10 students, presented by Mr Cooper and Mr Powell earlier this term, we would like to share with you the information that was given on the night.
Below you can find the PowerPoint used and more information around the process that students need to follow when securing their placement.
Details to be able to log in the work experience data base are included so students can search for placements. In addition to these listed placements, new placements can be requested if you find a placement through your own contacts. Once students have agreed a placement with an employer, they must then complete the work experience vetting form and hand it in to their tutor or to Mr Cooper in the Safeguarding office at lunchtime. The deadline to agree a placement with an employer and hand in the request form to school is May 16th 2025.
All students have received a work experience assembly to ensure they also know exactly how to secure a placement. All tutors have received training to support students with the process and can assist their tutees.
