Manor Academy’s Olivia Wright of Y9 had a very successful weekend in the England Athletics age group open championships, which were held at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield, for Under 15,17 and 20 athletes from around the country.
Leading the way for her club, Mansfield Harriers and AC, Olivia took a superb bronze in Under 15 800 metres, where she looked superb in her heat, recording a new personal best of 2.14.05. The next day, in a highly competitive final, Olivia went one better, recording another personal best and club record as she came home in 2.13.76.
This is an outstanding achievement for her. Massive congratulations!
