There was plenty to be proud of at Manor Academy today, as Year 11 students collected their GCSE results. The school recorded a 9% increase in the number of students achieving a grade 5 or above across all subjects, reflecting the determination shown by pupils throughout their studies.

Alongside the school-wide achievements, there were many individual successes, including:

  • Holly B achieved six grade 9’s, two grade 8’s and a Level 2 Distinction*. Holly plans to study A-Levels at Ashfield sixth form.
  • Livia C achieved seven grade 9’s and two grade 8’s. Livia plans to study A-Levels at Bilborough College.
  • Alannah R achieved three grade 9’s, five grade 8’s and a rade 7. Alannah plans to study A-Levels at Ashfield sixth form.
  • Eva S achieved five grade 9’s, two grade 8’s, a grade 7 and a Level 2 Merit. Eva plans to study A-Levels at Aashfield sixth form.
  • Tyler S achieved three grade 9’s, two grade 8’s and four grade 7’s. Tyler plans to study A-Levels next year.

“I personally would like to thank all the families for the passionate support they have shown the acaedmy, going that extra mile in ensuring their child took every opportunity to be the very best they could be.”
