On Thursday 8 September the Tour of Britain cycle race will pass through Mansfield Woodhouse between 14:30 and 15:45. The academy has arranged for all students to have the opportunity to watch the riders as they race towards the finish line.
The group will leave the academy at 14:00 to walk with their class, escorted by their class teachers to the Coopers car park where they will remain supervised whilst they watch the riders as they head towards their final destination for the day.
It is expected to last approximately 1 hour and students will return to the academy at 16:00 unless permitted to leave the care of their teacher at the venue from 15:45.
