We would like to invite you and your child to an Aim high evening on Thursday 19 September 2024 at 5.30pm-6.30pm in the Main Hall.
The evening will offer information to how families can support their child in their revision in the home and how the academy is working hard to ensure they reach their potential, gaining the maximum progress towards their examinations. This will be led by staff from our dedicated Science, English and Maths teams, they will explain how to support and develop the child’s understanding of the subjects but will give parents a real insight into the methodology and rigour used by our staff to support the learning needs of their students.
You will also be given information on the interventions which will be on offer to students in school, throughout year 11. We believe this knowledge will only enhance your ability to support your child when they are learning at home.
Other important information that will be given on the evening will be the dates for mock exams, the passport to the prom, Alton towers trip and Leavers Hoodies for year 11 students.
